Welcome to Reflections on Midsommar, a place where I take delight in all of the amazing details in the movie Midsommar. My name's Kirby and I really love the magic, beauty, and horror of this movie. This blog contains spoilers so don't look if you haven't seen it!

⚘ Theory: Pelle killed Dani's family ⚘

 Some have speculated that Dani's family tragedy was caused by Pelle and the Hårga. In an interview with The Huffington Post, Ari Aster makes it very clear that this theory is not true:

Ankur Pathak: There’s a theory that suggests that Pelle was responsible for the deaths of Dany’s parents.

Ari Aster: Well, yes, I have read that one. I can go as far as to say that it’s totally incorrect. He is not.
